I have both the Axio-HD & MX02 MAX Rack with CS5 and Matrox 5.0 loaded and there is definetly a rendering problem since I went to these new versions up from CS4. For instance, when I lay a group of clips that are slightly compressed QuickTime (HD) files at 30fps and I "interpret" them to be 23.976fps @ 1920X1080 10bit un-compressed,... Always in the past I would need to render the group of clips first. But in CS5 these same clips are not showing a "red line" only an occasional yellow one. So, Premier is saying "no need to render"... I thought at first that Adobe must have really improved something with their CUDA engine Confused .... But what it really is, is that Premier (or Matrox) isn't working properly and rendering clips that need to be rendered! All of the work we have done so far plays on the timeline without any lost or jittery frames... But if you play the finished clip on any other player (Windows Media Player, QuickTime Player, etc..) it dosen't even recognize the clip. Is this a Matrox issue or an Adobe one??? Either way, we can no longer do any HD work unless we reinstall CS4 and the older Matrox driver..... HELP!! Sad
